When your status is ‘pending’, this means we do not have sufficient evidence to qualify you for Verizon Wireless’s military offers using MilVet ID.
You’ve got two options at this point:
- Get qualified for Verizon Wireless military offers by signing up for Veterans Advantage and upgrade to a premium VetRewards subscription. Once your VetRewards account is activated, you’ll be given access to our private Verizon Wireless online store with the military discount applied to any transactions. If you are already enrolled, you can simply log in with your Member ID and password. As a VetRewards subscriber, you’ll also be sent a VetRewards Card ID that you can present in Verizon Wireless stores to show you qualify for their military offers.
- Alternatively, you continue your MilVetID verification process. Respond to your “pending” email notification and attach one of the following documents (redact any sensitive information, such as SSN):
Active Duty: Military Paystub, Military Enlistment DD Form 4, (no military orders, please)
Military Veterans: DD Form 214, Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC), Military Retiree Accounts Statement, State Drivers License with Veteran Designation, IDNYC with Veterans Designation Card, Certification of Disability from the VA, disability payment record from the VA
National Guard: NGB Form 22
