Upon activation, Veterans Advantage provides you with a printable beneficiary designation form that you can use if you prefer a specific beneficiary designation, rather than the standard beneficiary that is provided by our group policy. Please print out and keep this beneficiary designation form in a safe place or give it to your estate attorney.
If you do not complete this beneficiary designation form, it is standard policy procedure that benefits will be paid, in equal shares, to your surviving family members in this order: first to your spouse; but if you have no spouse, or your spouse is longer living, then to your children; and if you have no living children, then to your parents; and if your parents are no longer living, then to any brothers or sisters. If you don’t have any of these surviving family members, the benefits are paid to your estate.
