Q. What is the new Veterans Advantage?
A. We’ve been hard at work making Veterans Advantage better than ever. Our website and web experiences are now enhanced to serve you in ways that will make it easier for you to enjoy all your discounts and benefits. From improved mobile access to customizing your account, you can now easily go to your favorite deals and save. We’re thrilled how our new site will help you as a member enjoy the respect, recognition, and rewards you deserve.
We have added a free Veterans Advantage membership for prospective members who wish to access publicly-available veteran and military discounts, as well as supporters who do not qualify for discounts but wish to support the Greater Military Community.
We have also greatly expanded our website content, offering advice articles, member stories of military service, and helpful Military and Veteran Life resources.
Q. Will there be new discounts on the new site?
A. Yes, we are continually working to expand our program benefits for our VetRewards members and will announce these benefits from with our partner coalition as they occur in the Partner and Benefit News section of our blog, The Service™, and through our bi-weekly email newsletter. We will also be publishing more information on all the military discounts in the Military Discounts Marketplacemarketplace today, so we become your one-stop source for savings you can get to thank you for your service.
Q. How do I find my current VetRewards discounts?
A. When you login for the first time you will be prompted to create a new password. You can then go to “Benefits” on the homepage navigation or enter into MY ACCOUNT“My Account” from the right- hand top corner. In our new Military Discounts Marketplace, all VetRewards Exclusives will have a special red banner so you can easily find your favorite VetRewards savings.
You may now also favorite the discounts that you use the most by clicking the heart icon on the discount or benefit in the Military Discounts Marketplace. Your favorite discounts and benefits will then appear in your Member Dashboard when you log in for quicker, easier redemption.
Q. Will there be any changes to my account?
A. Your Member ID and Travel Code will remain the same. For members with family cards, we are excited to announce some new features for your family members. You will no longer have to share your account with family. Each family member will now have their own Member ID, Travel Code, and email address and password. When you login for the first time to the new site, you will be shown where your family members can each create unique logins. When their VetRewards Card is renewed at the end of the term, they will be updated with their own Member ID.
Q. Will my family need new cards?
A. No. Your current family cards will remain valid until expiration. If you would like a replacement card, you may purchase new cards in your account area of the new site. We will continue to offer you the added benefit of family cards at 50% off your primary card price every year.
Q. Will the price of my member plan go up?
A. No. As a current VetRewards Card member, you can continue to enjoy your full benefits, discounts, and insurance. For new members, we will offer a new TravelProtection™ plan for $20 per year. This includes the same travel insurance coverage, such as $50,000 MedEvac and $5,000 AD&D, and travel assistance services, which will no longer be part of the VetRewards CarePackage for new members. We encourage you to continue to renew your current plan, and, as a loyal member, this valuable travel insurance coverage and services will remain included at no additional cost.
